Pateley Bridge
North Yorkshire
Industries have come and gone in Pateley Bridge of which now there are few traces – leaving an unspoilt village lying at the bottom of Nidderdale – one of the hidden dales of Yorkshire and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It remains an agricultural centre with its own livestock market and annual show. It makes an excellent base to explore both the Harrogate and Skipton districts – however, the only public transport is the local bus service.
